The archaeological sites of Roma Sotterranea are among the most fascinating places to visit in this wonderful city. We have selected two jewels located under two churches that have little of the ordinary. The Basilica of San Clemente hides churches, temples, streets and houses, built one on top of the other. Excluded from the classic tourist routes, a beautiful 5th century church hides the Roman Houses. They are without doubt the best preserved Domus of the Imperial Age, dated between the 2nd and 4th century. An instructive and “refreshing” tour!
